Taking off "MITSUBISHI" logo

Hey guys, i was just wondering if there's anyway to take the "MITSUBISHI" letters off of my 91" GSX. Could i take off the center piece and pull it apart to get to them? I just want to make the car look like this so no one knows what it is. Any help is appreciated

What mitsu logo are u referring to?.. If the one on the back You can always go talon taillights.

yes, the logo on the back that says MITSUBISHI in big black letters. If i were to get talon taillights, wouldn't it have the area where the license plate goes? i know that the license plate on an eclipse goes on the bumper where as the plate goes up on the rear tail light section of a talon, correct? there has to be some way to take the logo off my car. anyone else know? thanks

The 1g talon plate goes on the bumper just like the 1g eclipse.

yeah, but i think that the 92'-94' e/t/l's have the plate up on the tail light area. your right about the 90'-91' though. but then i would have to take the talon logo off somehow. i think there has to be somehow to take that "MITSUBISHI" logo off though.

Do you mean the lettering, or the tri-diamond? Pick at the edge, see if it's glued-on or molded-in, and go from there.

yes, the lettering. i'm thinking that there has to be some way to take the tail section off and apart so that one can get to inside of that section to maybe take those letters off.

I think the 1ga's have the letters on the inside of the middle piece. Someone correct me if im wrong though

yes, it looks as if the letters are on the inside, but do you think it's possible to split the tail light assembly apart to get to those letters?

Grab a spare off eBay and go wild.

Oven @ 200 degrees will loosen up the glue. If it's a 2 piece design. But take defiant's advice and grab a spare to do this with
