I am in the market for some quality seats. So far, style-wise, I am liking the Sparco Fighter Seat. The best price for the pair I have found is $979.95. (As far as I can tell without calling for a deal, that price does not include brackets or sliders.) I searched the forums and did not find anything about this particular Sparco seat, though I have heard positive reviews of other Sparco seats. I really like this seat and will probably purchase it around Christmas time. I drive a maroon Eclipse with a tan/black interior. I would be getting the seats in the all black color because the red ones do not match any part of my interior. I'm not sure if there are any Sparco retailers near where I live so I don't think I can find one to sit in.

Does anybody have the Sparco Fighter seat in their car?

Has anybody ever sat in the Sparco Fighter seat or seen it in a DSM?

Any input that anybody has about Sparco seats would be greatly appreciated.

X-mas 2003???

I have sat in a Sparco Fighter. It is one of their larger seats. But I guess that isn't useful unless you've sat in their other seats.

I like the idea of a large seat, they seem to usually be comfortable (Lay-Z-Boy). Igs, would this be the type of seat that feels comfy and wraps around you if you are a skinny little 5'8" 140 kid? Also, with the issue of it being a larger seat, would it be able to fit comfy in a 1998 Eclipse RS?

If you're looking for comfort, you don't want a fixed back racing seat. Racing seats are made to fit your body like a glove, not being a cheap easy chair.

Even though it's biggER, it will still support you much better than any stock seat.

I finally got my first sit in a Sparco seat this weekend. The guy at the store said that he has sat in a fighter and that it was more comfortable than what I sat in. Here is what I sat in. He also mentioned that I might not like the fact that its non-adjustable. Do people with racing seats often find this to be a priority when they are in the market to buy them?

I think that people looking to buy a racing seat are usualy looking for a light weight seat that fits the driver of the car. as far as getting one to have a more comfy seat, untill there broken in they suck. I have a set of sparco milanos in leather, they are like rocks the driver seat is getting better after a year but its still not as comfotable as the stock seats. I dont know if I could handle a seat that wasnt adjustable. it would make getting in to the back seat for stuff a real pain.

That is very true. I did forget to mention that I no longer have back seats in my car. They are in the garage and the space is filled with a custom amp. rack.

sophat34, when you say you wouldn't want to go with a non-adjustable, is that just because of the difficulty to get into the back seat, or the comfort level.

Ive been trying to find the ebayracing.com site, and I cant find it. On all of the ebay sites, I found alot fo sparcos but not the fighter. Does it have another name or something? The best I have found so far stays at $979 for a pair.

I have APC seats in my talon ,as far as width I have 38 waist and fit
comfortably ,I found them as cheap as 200 apiece with sliders.
You will need brackets though.
I can e-mail you pics of how they look ,and also have a set of
brand new 4 point harness's from weapon in blue for 85 shipped

I am trying to stick with the Sparco Fighters but I would love to see how the seats look in your car. Please send me your pictures!
