Thermal exhaust tip

Anyone ever cut the tip off a thermal exhaust and put a smaller one on? Where is a good place for quality tips?

Good question... I'm looking at replacing mine with a stock-looking dual-tip, like the one sold by RRE. I need to get around to measuring the thermal tip where it is welded to the muffler and call RRE to see if theirs is the same diameter.

I want a bigger tip on mine. Its too quiet like it is.

I would def like to add a more stock looking tip. I have already got one ticket for "altered exhaust." If I could make it look stock, then maybe I will not get pulled over as much.

No one knows a place thats sells tips? Not just a couple here and there.
