custom dash pod ideas..help

I have been searching this forum high and low for a thread on a certain dash pod...but no luck. I am very interested in getting a 3-gauge pod made that will overly my stock airbag cover...and have the gauges angled towads me for my 2g....any suggestions, or know anyone who can make this for a decent price? i want to move my S-afc, Rev/speed meter, and AVC-R into a glove box pod, and have the three gauges up above on the air bag. Carbon fiber would be verry nice, but even made so I can color match it to my car color would be nice. can anyone help? thanks.

thats looks kinda cool. Has anyone ever moved there AC controls to the glove box before..?? I'm wondering how hard it wood be. That would free up the room I have been needing to put a monitor molded into the dash. Thanks.

i never have, but when i took out my dash, i got kinda curous and had a good hard look at it. basically half the contols are cable and the other half are electric. so it seems like just a matter of extending a couple cables and wires.

this seems like a very easy mod.

hey guys,
theboogieman makes a carbon fiber airbag cover. You have to send him your air bag cover and he makes the cf cover from that if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure he could do some kind of gauge pod like you're wanting with the cover. Hit him up and see. He also makes lots of other interior stuff out of cf. Later.

Ive also heard the idea of using a 2000 eclipse single din climate controls to free up space up top.

Far from finished and not for guages...also not for my car. But you can see that there will be a screen eventually in there facing the driver somewhat! I wish I had some TV monitors in my ride

This pic shows the single din climate controld Im talking about:

you _might_ be able to use these controls which would give you more room higher in the dash.
