RMDSM Sides & Rear Lips

Hey everyone, I have been thinking. I like the RMDSM lip from the front, however from the sides it looks out of place as it hangs lower than the rest of the stock kit. So, I did a little bit of photoshopping (not too great though) to see what a side and rear lip would look like. I think it would be pretty cool. Let me all know what you think. Maybe if enough people like it, someone can produce it. Here are the pics.

Actually that's not my car, it's just the same color. It's 4X4Eclipse's.

Looks good, the sides should go up to the place the oem ones do, just have the flare made on not just tacked on. That's just my .02 worth.

If it were painted the color of the car I think it would look a lot cleaner, also if the rear came down a little bit more. It'd be cool if someone was able to make these though.

try taking a front peice and see how close it is to fitting the rear

yeah word to that, i think some people miss the point that they may be some funktion to a front lip, sides, and especily rear do nothing at all in a lip form, lower side skirts that flow with the boddy would look better, and the back should be a diffuser

I don't care how goofy it looks, long as it will give me downforce. I'd ditch the rear lip and go with a diffuser, though. Does anybody make a diffuser for DSMs?

First my comments... Thats was a disgrace to my car those side skirts look like some old school early 90's crap.

Second, everyone talks about downforce from the lip..... NOT!!!!

you can't have to much down force, for gods sake it is on a urethane bumper, to much would make the bumper ripped off.

oh my gooness...
underbody aerodynamics have thier place, certainly they exist for many other cars... mostly in japan, where people acutaly do go fast in cars? i dont know....

secondly the effects from downfoarce happen all the time, but at a certain speed it changes from simply reduced lift, to acual downforce, also under body parts can effect the dragcoefitient signifigantly.

i think ultimatly, if im gonna spend the money to put something ont he back of my car, it had better have a function.

That looks really ugly IMO. Its like having two sets of sideskirts and the back just looks retarded.

jup,i suggest u just put thin plastic or sheet metal plates under ur car(very light wieght pieces) to decrease drag(mercedes and Audi do this to many diesels to reduce Road and Engine noise,but also to reduce drag and ultimatley.. save fuel)

rmdsm front looks good the way it is on the eclipse. it was a good idea and attempt, but i think if our cars were ment to have rmdsm sides n rear, that company would have already created them.
