frame rail help

ok i jsut got my new car and frame rail is bent to Sh*t how can i go about to fix this? cause i dont want to die if i get hit.. and sorry about postign ehre diudnt really kno where to post it. any help would be great

now the guy is dicking me around saying he will replace the engine.. but i will be stuck wid frame rail damage on a AWD i dunno what to do

What do you mean by frame rail?

look under ur car right under the driver and passenget seat u will see 2 rail lookin things that POS thing

Do you mean the drip edge, because mine was bent when I bought it too, but I don't think that it's a safety issue it's just a pain when you try to jack your car up and have to look for other spots.

Sounds like you are talking about the floor supports.They have little to do with the actual structure of the vehicle, they just reinforce the floor.Alot of people try to jack the car up on them.At any rate they are not a "frame", dsm's are unibody, and will have no effect on anything.

so even if it humps up and pulls car off by a inch on one saide on a AWD it will have no effect?

It couldn't "pull" one side an inch.Unibodies are fairly redundant , at max it would leave an annoying bump at your feet or alter the undercarriage aerodynamics a little.So I'd get what you can from the dealer because of it and then I would forget about it.

i sit up a lil hiigher in the seat and the passenger sits a lil sideways Aka the seat has the thug lean look to it)

Unless there is damage to the floor pan, I wouldn't even bother.
