can I get my hood painted, Silver, but semi clear(Carbonfiber underneath) in NoVa

Hey All, I was wondering. Do you guys know of any place where I can get my hood painted silver. but semi translucent, so that you can still see the carbon fiber? Can I just have a shop paint with 1 or 2 coats... would that make it see through?

You wouldn't use a normal silver base coat. You would want to use a silver pearl or candy, which is translucent and will let the carbon show thru. Probally would actually use a candy then clear over that.
