my license plate pwned me! help!

First off, I'm trying to put a cover on for my license plate, but the screws will not come out, all they do is turn. The the backside of the plate is not accesibale for me because of all the metal covering it. Plus I don't have a hole lot of tools, just a socket set and a screw driver. What should I do?

got it. I was turning the wrong way. They don't turn the normal way "lefty-loosey, righty-tighty"

haha thought u were gonna have the same experience i had last nite.... a friend cut me w/ his liscense plate like an inch deep, i too got owned by a liscense plate
