Talon high-rise spoiler.

Hi, I searched and didn't find anything about this so here goes.

I have a '95 Talon. My little 'moon' spoiler's paint is starting to crack and peel like crazy. (Don't know what that's about.)
Anyway, I'm looking for a new wing for her and absolutely love the later look of the Talon high-rise wing.
I'm going out on a limb here because it seems that most of the 2G drivers here have Eclipses.

My question is: If I find a high-rise wing at a junk yard, will I be able to swap it with the half moon one? Is the bolt pattern the same? (Are these things bolted on?) What about wiring the center brake light?
Would it be possible and/or simpler to just swap out the entire hatch?

They are bolted on, from underneath. Yeah, you could just swap out the hatch I don't know if the bolt patterns are the same though, nor anything about the wiring, but I'm sure you could wire it up easily even the harnesses didn't match.

You're talking about a 2G spoiler right? (The shorter one, not the big rainbow-arc-ish one correct?)
I'm still kinda partial to the 97/98 Talon spoiler, is seems to follow the more organic theme of the Talon body style, rather than the industrial look of the Eclipse.

My Turbo wing came in a couple days ago,but i know its gonna be a pain in the ass to swap the stock ugly 95 wing for the turbo clipse wing.Welding up the old holes and making new ones.Blah but itll look good in the end with my Black chrome eclipse altezzas that are on the way.Just need to buy the eclipse rear bumper.And I just slid my car into a guard rail and I cracked my bumper, so Im just gonna get a 97-98 Talon front bumper to replace Moneys flyin

So, here's what I'm thinking. (And you'd be helping me out big time.)

Once you've started the spoiler project, you could snap some pics of the stock bolt locations.
Then, I print it off and take it to a junk yard. I take off the 2Gb wing and if the bolt pattern looks the same I'll either buy the spoiler, or if they're trying to rip me off, I'll just set it next to the fence and come back with some wire cutters...
Anyway, let me know what you think.
