new seats?

Well my seats are looking pretty horrid, so I'm looking for replacements. I don't have enough money to buy any nice racing seats. I'm looking for seats out of other cars that will fit my 1G. I like the new Civic Si seats but I doubt I can find one of those around in the junkyard. Anyone know of nice seats that will fit my DSM?

Go to a junk yard... one around here had like 4 1g dsms... between those you could pick out two seats in decent condition, even though i didnt buy them the dude told me 30$ for pair, 50$ for front and back seats...

GSX seats are nice, as are TSI seats. Stay away from RS (eclipse not laser) seats and you'll be fine

I don't know about junkyards elsewhere but the ones around here the cars are usually open to the elements and the inside gets really nasty. I'd keep my eyes peeled on dsmtrader or keep an ear to the streets about anyone buying racing seats and won't need their stockers. I have a set of Tenzo R Rally seats in my 90 talon and getting the seats, brackets, and everything else is a pain. The easiest way would probably be to have them reupholstered. Its not the cheapest but probably the easiest. I had my rear seat done when I got my Tenzo's and it cost about $300. They do look really nice though with the new Tenzo's. Thought I'd give you my two pennies and good luck with your decision.

I still have my stock seats. They are a nasty pattern but no rips, and I don't think they have any major stains. They do look like they are 12 years old though. They are also missing some parts as far as the seat belts and everything go but you could transfer them from yours. I'd give them to you if you're really desperate. You'd need to pay shipping however. I don't know if they'd be worth it for you.

I picked up a parts car with no motor for 500 bucks with black leather seats in perfect condition, so now i have black leather interior from the shitty foam seats
