well, i just found out that i can't come down my road and into my driveway. i look under my car and there is a couple of big scratches under the bumper. i really don't want the scratches to flake and start spreading. you can't see them unless you actually look under the car. Should i just try and spray the area with the closest matching paint, and then give it a few coats of clear coat? i don't think i can find a matching color, because it's custom(red w/ copper pearl). any help would be appreciated:dsm:

I don't think there is really an easy way out. Either you touch it up the best you can or best way to go is the paint shop. But I think scratches are very minimal some people learn to live with them. The way I see it, save your bucks and do your best temporary work on it, say like clear coat it, and wait till you really need a job on your car and save some bucks. Shops will charge you about 200 bucks for the whole bumber to be painted.
