Just what the title says......

There was something I saw in a magazine that APC makes, that you bolt on to your front bumper to reduce heat from the brakes..... I forgot what the hell it was called though... (which is b.sh*t)

But it came into my mind that, do you think the spinner rims can actually reduce heat to the brakes????

I don't know. It's just a thought...

Now don't start flamin' on this sh*t, I just want opinions!!!

Hahahahhahaahhahaha

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAAGHAHAHAHAHAHAH

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Rule number one: APC has never made a performance product. Ever. Nothing they make is any sort of performance product.

Rule number two: Spinners are "JES FO DECORATION". If you want cooler brakes, try brake ducting.

If the spinners are designed like a fan and blows air towards the brakes then yea, it will cool them.

I have heard of different rims that help divert air to the brakes because of their shape. But I dont think spinning Rims can do this very well because they are so free spinning that when the car is moving the spinning portion of the wheel doesnt even seem to move. 300zx TT Wheels Divert air like a fan (so I've heard).

OMG u this has to be the most retarded question ive have ever heard. NO THEY DONT DO SHIZNIT!!!!!!!

porsche rims do this...they're designed like fans, so they blow air at the face of the rotors

1g dsm wheels look like they would do this too...the real old 1g ones, that arent even really spoke wheels, they just look like...well...fans.

but yeah, its a shame more aftermarket wheels dont take advantage of this. they'd have to be different designs for the left and right side though.

Spinner rims wouldn't. They are designed to have no pitch on them, that way they will have the least amount of drag on them so they spin longer.

Oop. I thought they were for _desecration_. My bad.OMG

Saw an interesting thing about Formula 1 brakes a couple of races ago- they have what are essentially compressor wheels mounted in the hubs to pump cooling air through the bearings and brakes. I thought it was pretty..... well, cool.
