where can i find black/smoked color sidemarkers for front bumper???

ok i really want the black sidemarkers, i would imagine that they make them but i have searched everywhere that i know of and have only found clear ones

so where can i get the smoked ones at???

You can actually just go out and buy spray tint.... the same stuff that people use to blackout their tail lights...

Should be able to pick it up in any Autozone or Pepboys.. then just spray it on yourself

Scroll down to almost the end of this page. It's called nightshades and works well if you use many many coats of very very light spray. It's a real thin liquid and will run like hell if you arent careful. And its not easily taken off of anything.

i didnt tint them all the way, just enough to draw attention away from them.... before they were chrome and attracted attention.
Also, i dont recommend doing this to the stock amber ones, i did it to them and they looked good, but at night the light looked red, so definate popo magnet, so i did it to my clear ones.... i was a bit more conservative with these ones because i didnt want to screw em up

NightShades works great. I used it to tint my girl's side markers. Use many thin even coats, cap it off with some clear if you can.

so i should buy clear sidemarkers and then spray several, light coats of the nightshades...and then top it off with a clear spray???

would i need higher wattage bulbs after this or what???

I dont think you really need to buy clear corners or higher watt bulbs. All I did was spray mine. You cant tell there is an orange lense under there unless the sun is beating right on them.

IF you want the smoked look, like aftermarket smoked lighting brings; spray the clear ones with a couple light coats, that's actually a great idea.

But if you want the BLACK look, so blend in with your black car, don't waste your cash and just spray the hell out of them with nightshades. Frankly if I were you and I wanted them to dissapear, I would spray them with my car's colour-code spraypaint and unplug the lights.

I bought the apc ones, cut them open and spray painted the inside black. Looks really good on a white car, especially with my 97-99 front bumper and black housing headlights. Im definately the only dsm in my area with em, at least that ive seen. I'll post pics later when my car is all back together; replacing axles and hubs.

Not really. Are you using those lights for anything now? They're just anti-cop lights.

I just sprayed mine with RC car tint spray... these are the rims i might put on my car.
