I have a friend who is interested in these, even if they are just something that someone does a custom job on. If he ends up with something that looks nice, I may be interested in some as well. Anyone know where I might find some pics of a custom job, or do any of you have the skills to take on a project like this?

everyone says supra tails r played out but i have yet to see them in a 1g i think skyline tails r a tad played out on that one.... but if u want to go custom do somethign really f'ed up look at cars and pick a tail that looks cool and no one would think of having then u can say ur car is one of a kind (til someone copys u) :D

Personally I love the 1gb Laser tails. Understand that all I'm after is a little info for a friend. He asked me to do a search for him because he doesn't have a computer, and instead of telling him what to like and what won't look good (because after all it's HIS CAR) I told him yeah, I would ask. To tell you the truth, I expected you all to flame a lot worse than this by now.

If you have any info for me, that's great. I'll pass it along. Otherwise, don't waste your energy saying it's rice and all because for the most part I share your opinions.

And just to clear up confusion before you all jump on me... Yes, I did say that if they looked nice I might consider a pair, only because I've never seen it done before and I think it would look nice, NOT because it's "played out" or "rice."

any one have pics of the supra tails or skyline tails on a 1g? i dont think ive ever seen them.

if u want it done right i would tin in the back and make custom brackets for the tails to sit in. cause u cant jsut bondo ur ass off and throw em in. fiberglass would work also but wont be as sturdy as tin' the back in on the beast. but myself am no body man so if he wants done right take it to a body shop cause they can do it right and make it look nice. hope my rambling helped
