Replacement Gauge Cluster

The Gauge Cluster on the 1G I just aquired is disgusting. You can see right through the white face plates they installed and see shadows of wiring and such. Anyone know of a good place to buy an aftermarket cluster, preferably with INDIGLO back lighting?

The speedometer reading is stuck on the car... may it be the cluster or just that the wire may be loose?

There are no aftermarket, but good ones show up fairly regularly on eBay. You'll have to do the glowgauges yourself.

Any particular ones I should hope for or any ones that I should not even take for free?

Whether you like the full-dial glow or just the numbers is pretty much a personal choice. However, look carefully to make sure the tach and speedo numbers match your car's; some only go to 7K on the tach, and some go to 150 or so on the speedo. And they're all kind of a nuisance to install, go really slowly. I don't know that there's a lot of quality variation between the different makers.
