Here is my view on bumper supports. Yeah they are heavy, so what. I cut mine. You know why???

Well IF I had an accident, not only would it probably help save my life, it also will help save MOST of what I paid for . The FMIC may be gone, but if you remove it, and you hit something head on like LarryD did. Most if your prizes inside, under the hood will be damaged. If you have the support the crash will be EVENLY distributed across the front and not in one section.

i plan on keeping the support for a few reasons..bumper issues like sagging, and basicaly what you said ed..itll take alot of cutting but oh well..thanx for the advice guys..
