So I have a front blitz urethane bumper and I have someone that can paint it for me but the only thing I need is the paint itself which is the stock white color. So I was wondering how much should it cost for just enough white paint for the front bumper, any response would be appreciated....

Go to a paint store (I have used Sherwin-Williams) and buy a quart of yer color, then you will have touch up paint for yer future scrapes.

so they sell car paint there? because I never knew that thinking that theres a difference between car and house paint.

Well, to start off...you're going to need more than just a can of paint. I've painted things on my car a few times now...here's what I spent for a fiberglass bumper:

1 quart base coat (the color): $35
1 pint clear coat (the shiny): $20
1 pint reducer (to thin the prime and base): $10
activator (to harden the clear) $10
1 pint urethane primer (to prep your bumper for paint): $15

Being you have urethane, you're going to need a flex additive for everything so that when your bumper flexes, the paint doesn't chip off. Just go to your local automotive paint store and they should be able to set you up with everything you will need to get the job done, just tell them what you have. You can expect to pay ATLEAST $80 for everything. Be sure to follow all the proper prep and drying requirements for your particular paints. Goodluck!

thanks for all the advice but all I'm going to need is getting the paint myself and my friend will do the rest and was wondering if any kind of paint from anywhere would do the job.

That's the point. You're going to need more than just the paint. Each brand of paint requires a specific clear, primer, reducer, activator, and flex in order to acheive the results the manufacturer intended. Unless ofcourse your friend has a vast array of painting products, you're going to have to have someone at the paint shop set you up with all the right stuff to get the job done. There's alot more to painting then I think you understand. Just go to the paint shop and talk to someone there, educate yourelf.
