Liftgate Support

I just Got new supports for the Liftgate, And i dont know how to take the trim off to get to the bottom bolts. Plz help me out if you guys know how to finsih the job. Thanks

Just unscrew the two screws that hold the support mount for the cargo cover and pull the trim panel out a little to access the bolts. Make sure you don't drop the bolts into the hole behind the panel because it will be very difficult to retreive them if you do. I kept a magnet on the bolts while unscrewing them to avoid dropping them. What kind of hatch struts did you get? Hopefully they are the ones with the top bracket attached on them already, because you will have to drill out the old brackets and rivet them into the new ones if they didn't come with them. If not, I'd return them and get the ones from Advance Auto Parts called Strong Arm.

Thanks i got ones from autozone they look just like the ones i took off. I droped the bolt a few times and we got it back easy the first few times but now its lost. so i am going to get a new blot from home depo. Me and my friend should have it done by tomm i hope.
