hey guys, well i was using aircraft stripper to take the clear coat off the lip of my 97-99 gsx rims and everything was coming off great. then i come back to look at my car and see that my little cousin who was visiting sprayed some on the wheel and the finish came off. so should i go ahead and try to touch it up or go for the refinish like lucideclipse?

You should hold him by the heels, placing his head in the bowl and flushing the toilet several times. And after that, he should be punished.

It'll be _very_tough_ to get a touch-up to look good, but it might look good enough.

Sorry your relative chewed through its leash.

Dude, suck it up and just redo the whole rim.

Trust me, you cant just to a little portion... I tried when I was painting my rims and it was to hard to do so I just stripped the wheel and re-did it.

well this when i got off of work at 5 today i started to refinsish them. i used aircraft strippper and duplicolor graphite and clear. the 2 i did so far look so good. the only thing im not happy with is the wheel weight on the outside of the one. but im going to get them rebalanced and take care of that and i would like to thank lucideclipse for the directions in his forum.
