man i went to pep boy and got me some of that spray on and dry wax. its some new shit and i thought it would work good. well this is complete junk! its basically grease that makes ure car look shinier, when u try drying it off it streaks everywhere and makes it look extremely crappy. i had to use my waxing force to try and make the streaks come out, it somewhat came out. well 2 weeks later, i need to wash my car. i soap it up with carwash, and wash it down, then when it comes to drying, SAME PROBLEM, i didnt even use the stuff this time. when i tried cleaning my windows from the outside with this "PROFFESIONAL STRENGTH" window cleaner, it just let grease streaks. warning, do not buy this shit, and if u did and had any luck, ure lucky. my friend has the same problem i do using this greasy shit.

I just used eagle one spray on wax. I thought it worked pretty well, but i ran into some of the same problems, you have to apply when its wet and it would start to dry to fast before i could wipe it down. But with some work it buffed out and suprising looked really clean, for the ease of use compared to regular wax.

tahts cause you people dont read directions...it only smears if you do it when its half dry...if you do it in the shade and put it on a go over the whole car once witha towel(not a shamey thingie) so hat all the heavy water is off then go over it again with a really absorbent towel to get the rest...its perfect.....when it dries out it gets greasy and streaky...i give it 4 thumbs up

my g/f uses it on her tiburon after every wash and it looks damn good. if you all got yours at the same time, and at the same place take it back and get your money back. it may have been a bad batch and maybe others had returned theirs. but i think the eagle one stuff is awesome, 2 thumbs up in my book:thumb: :thumb:

I used that stuff once and I was so disgusted by the way it worked I took it back and showed the guy at the auto store how it turned out, and he even said that it did'nt turn out good so I exchanged it for some regular turtle wax.

I dunno man... the Eagle 1 preceeded by some "safe cut" took me from this:

and I didn't have any of the above problems. :)

But more importantly, what happened with the girls? :p

Haha, well my friend was over with his cadillac.. and he was like we're riding in my car. They were "heh you can but we're riding in the eclipse" - i about fell over.. :) Anyways i ended up selling my 91 to one of the girls (i hope it lasts). She fell in love with it once she saw it and went and worked for like 6 months just to get the money. Now i got a 95 GST , all black and kind of looks like yours but i have a caminari (sp?) front end and the smaller spoiler.

I got the Eagle 1 wet wax 32 oz bottle @ pepboys for 6 bucks and got a coupon for a buck off on like 4 other products by Eagle 1. The wet dry wax is damn good, even on mly beat ass 1.8 :D Ill hit the 1.50 car wash, since its got a roof and stuff keeps it nice n shady. wax works great, much easier than turtle wax and stuff of that sort.
