I really want to change my interior over to black from grey. I have been giving this alot of thought and I would like to get some insight from you guys. Do you think I should just paint all the panels and dash or buy factory replacements? I could do a little of both also. I was curious about the dash though. I have heard it is really hard to pull out to paint or replace. Does it require the windsheild to be removed or what? Let me know what you guys think I should do because this will turn into a project this summer.

Yeah I re-did mine, all but the door handles (went to the junkyard and got a center consol, vents, etc etc) Looks a lot better, black on stock gray isn't a bad combo till you can get all the panels and dash and all. If your good at painting (wich im not) just paint em, black primer and black paint, wont be noticable if it chips

So what about the dash? Should I look into a replacement fromt the dealer or paint it? How can I remove it when the time comes?

I am in the process of painting mine to black and red. I used gloss black by krylon fusion. it is really good, no priming, but dont use it on the vinyl. iam not sure what to use on the dash yet. it pretty easy and i have directions on taking everything out. it took me about 2-3 hours including the dash.

i've got some panels that i painted white. they need to be sanded and such. i've got alot of them and if you want them just let me know and we'll discuss prices and such. just email me.

it takes mabey an hour to pull the dash mabey! its super easy im doing mine again for the second time stupid paint is chipping time to get the SEM paint

The junkyard has the black dash but, I have no clue how tot ake it out or how much it would cost so... for now my interior color scheme is black and Gray... better than red white and gray, in a green car... LOL

Im going to look into totaly replacing everything. I know that will be pricey but its always better in the long run. If I do choose to go with painted what kind of paint would you guys recommend? Im looking for something semi-glossy that will not chip and crack after a while. I dont want to have to pull panels off every couple weeks to repaint them.

Yeah that SEM paint is really good stuff, its a bit expensive, but its worth it. I tried using cheaper stuff, and SEM its way better. It goes on nicely. It doesnt run for the most part. It dries pretty quick too.

mmmmm SEM paint...

Where would I get this stuff at? Like a craft store? What does SEM stand for? One last question, any particular brand I should look for? I really dont mind spending the extra money for the good stuff.

SEM is the brand of paint, it comes in a regular spray can, but I like it. I get it at an auto parts store called Hall's here, I dont know how far their business goes. But I couldnt find it at Adv. Auto, or Auto Zone. So... Good luck
