2nd gen talons: can i remove the little black 3rd brake light/spoiler ugly thing?

Yeah, then put a 97-98 talon spoiler on there

Yeah, just pop the trunk, look up and pull the piece of plastic covering the bottom of the trunk lid and there are like 5 or 6 10mm bolts holding it in. Pretty easy to get off. Just a warning, when you take it off, there are like 3 small holes and one big one and it looks kinda ugly.

wait..i have a 97 talon and it has the boomerang wing. Is that the 97+ wing you guys talking about or the tiny one?

The 95-96 talon has the "thumbnail" Those look clean with a full 97-99 eclipse conversion, leaving the talon black top and thumbnail.
