1G Custom Interior

This morning I stopped by Checker Auto Parts and came across some paint that stood out to me. I went home this afternoon and went to work on my car. Here's what i've done so far.

that's almost identical to what paint i have on my interior...check it out

it looks a little darker in my pics, because the flash wasn't on.

what kind of black paint did u use on ur door panels?
i painted my'ne black, and the paint seems great in most areas but there are other areas where the paint came off
like where the door panels touch the dash, the paint stuck together and it pulled off in a couple of small spots on the door

I used all Dupli-Color paints on my interior. They have some cool ones. The blue is the Metalcast system that gives pieces a metal anodized look (very cool, cant really see in pic). All you have to do use the Adhesive Promoter, the metallic primer, and the metal spray. I did the panels with the Vinyl and Upholstry paint. I'm super happy with the results of that too, have to see if it will wear after time though...

How did you get that fabric piece in the door panel to look like that? Did you wrap it in vinyl or what? I want to change mine, but can't figure out what to do with it.

his probably came with leather...so he just painted over it.

i had to rip my cloth off, sand/buff it down, fill the holes in the metal, and then paint it.

I just painted all the rear peices of my car black this past weekend. Cam out good Ill get pics soon. Whats a good paint to use for the dash peices? I used krylon fusion for the rear of my car.

Looks very nice. I've been thinking of doing something similiar with my car using silver. What does everyone think? Does silver go with a purple exterior & a tan interior?

No offense but I think the MetalCast looks like crap on the interior pieces

Yeah ... I'm not to keen on it either!
To each his own, but I think just a flat color would have looked better!
I'm almost finished painting my interior panels as well and I went with a flat black color .... looks awesome! I think!
I went to a friends house and he asked if I had gotten a new center console ....... when I told him NO it's just painted he didn't believe me!
