Hey guys. I tried to go to the caraudio forum but I couldnt get in. So Ill ask the question here. I got an MTX 12 inch sub and an amp for free. They were installed on a stock volkswagon vr6 and the owner gave me all the install stuff. I dont have the stuff in front of me, but my question was does the stock infinity headunit for a 96 gsx have pre outs in the back of it? Im a noobie when it comes to car audio. Can someone explain to me what i need to do or a website that tells me how to install the stuff? Thanks alot, Matt

Most likely on the stock radio you will have to use the rear speaker outlets as amp preouts. They sell connectors for you to do this.

you rbetter off going with an aftermarket headunit like a pioneer or alpine...the sound quality will be much better....

thats very true about the good sound however if u want to do it with the stock unit pm me and i will walk u through it. later
