I just started buying 97+ conversion parts. Since I dont have the headlights yet, I was considering projector headlights, for 175 on ebay. Then I decided to go with the stock ones... I couldnt find a pair of stock headlights for the 97+ for less than $$250. Then I remembered a junkyard in the area, I called them and they told me $300.
I wasnt expecting these high prices for second-hand USED headlights. One guy said his headlights were in poor condition, and he was only asking $225.. wtf? Thanks buddy.
Where else can I look? I filled out a request form at www.partznet.com but I dont think they will sell them for too cheep.

However, don't expect to find cheap headlights. they don't exist anymore, ever since mfrs stopped making the plain rectangle lights, you can't find them for just 10 bux at K-mart anymore.

How can $250 for second hand, poor condition headlights be that good of a deal? I just dont see the logic. $130 off is a lot but how can these used parts still be worth more than half the original price? I understand that there is a a demand for them, I just hate paying so much for second hand garbage; and now I don't seem to have any other choice.

I agree, if you can pick up some projectors online for $175 or some used stock lights for around $200, you're getting a deal. Go to the dealership or a body shop and you'll see that they normally go for that PER HEADLIGHT. Quit yer bitchin.

yup, going price for 97+ lights iz $200 at least (used) cheepest dealer price ive heard is $400 - my projectors were $225 or so

It's called "what the market will yeild" for these lights.

just because one person "thinks that they should be $X" doesn't mean that price is gonna happen.

Welcome to the world.
