Yeah, two years ago when I was a freshman in college my roommate and I bought (16) Mobile Authority "Thump" 8" subs in a similar deal. $70 shipped for the case of 'em and I thought it'd make a killer project. Colored them black with permanent marker and added JL Audio stickers for a wall of sub rice . We powered it with that 500 watt home amplifier sitting on top with a car crossover and it hit really hard actually. You'd definitely be surprised .
