I'm thinking about changing my interior to black this summer with red accent pieces. I see a lot of people paint parts of their door panels black and leave the stock tan or grey on most of the lower parts. This looks really nice and blends good but I have blue interior right now so i'm not sure if black and blue would go together that well. I was also thinking that adding a little bit or red around some pieces would make it look sort of cluttered if i left parts of the interior blue. Has anyone painted part of their interior black with stock blue interior? Pics would help a lot but i don't think a lot of people have done this. Any feedback would be great, TIA

Thar sounds like it could be cool, the only problem with painting it that the pain can/will wear off really easily, so if you have blue, and your black starts to rub off, it may look kind of messed up.

What kind of paint did you use to paint it? I have a gray interior but would like to paint it another color. Do you just use one kind of paint to paint everything? carpet, seats, paneling, headliner, dash etc.

dash--plastikote? vinyl dye
plastic panels---krylon semi flat black
carpet---some type of fabric dye
seats---picked up some gsx leather seats
