91 owners drift question

i bought a 92-94 front drift bumper, after you take out the front bumper support how and the hell did you guys get to mount on the front. if you leave the front bumper support in it wouldnt fit. please help me out this thing is pisiing me off. pics would be great if you had any

i think you have to modify it a bit to fit the 90-91, because of the pop-up headlights....not sure though. maybe someone else can help.

its not the problem with the pop-ups there a problem with nothing to hook it too
