ok i want to paint my door panals, not thewhole thing just that one main smaller piece, that and all 4 of the a/c vents in red... how the hell do u get them off??? and i cant even get my door panal off, i took all 5 screws out and when i went to pull on it it felt like it was going to break ipushed/pulled in every direction too.. so what am i missing? any tips to painting these thigns? thanks.

i got that one trust me... beause i didnt haveit off and then found it and was like oh, that must be the problem, but it wasnt, like the middle on the bottom and top stick and there are no screws holding it, i thought it would just be a clip but i couldnt figure it out.

did you get the one thats behind the door handle?? look and you'll see what i mean. sounds like thats what you missed. the handle on the inside. good luck!

I just posted this topic a couple days ago. Apparently you need some special tool to get the roll up window handle off? It's a bi*** to do I guess, I haven't got the tool yet or I'd help you more but I put the re-painting project on hold for now

hmm no you can use like a towel or something and wrap it around the base of the roll up handle and pull down on it, i think. i have power windows so i didnt have to deal with that.

no, ihave power windows, i guess me RS has some kind of package with it, i have power verything and whatnot, my car is basiclya gs now... so i duno.. my RS got rubbed off the back somehow, so no one has to know haha, anyway, yea i did get that one off bhind the handle, i already said that!! ahh im going to go try again..

does anyone know how to get the side and milddes a/c vents out??

Once the door panel is off there are a bunch of screws on the back and you can basically take the whole panel apart.

The Vent area uses some weird things that I just used a pair of plyers to twist off.

I'll see if I can find any pictures of it.
