Wheel Paint

Hey what's up guys? I was just woundering if anyone out there has painted their stock wheels or knows how well wheel paint works? If so is it a good idea to sand them first? Take them off? Thanks for any help you can provide.

The fact that you have to ask if you should take your wheels off before you paint them is kinda funny to me. I would suggest getting them powder coated if you want something that will last more than a couple months.

There are paints out there that claim you don't have to so it's not as stupid a question as you think....

ok heres what i did for mine. first sand your wheels down very good. then apply a couple coats of whatever color your spraying on. let it dry. then if you want it to last a while and look nice put a couple coats of primer on. one or two will do tha job.

Primer on top of the color??? I think you mean clear coat, right
