i got a question on all 3. first
angeleyes headlights:
do they make these for an eclipse?
coilovers?
do i need certain ones for the spyder?
taillights?
ok, i know most of you like the stock tail lights. but im getting tiered of mine. what should i get. i was thinking carbon fiber or gun metal and painting the center perice silver to the color of my car. what do yall think?:dsm:

About the angeleyes, do a search. I know some guy did a custom job on his headlights to make them angeleyes. Turned out pretty good imho.

Angel eyes are still a home project.
I _think_ the Spyder is just the FWD chassis, but make sure with a Spyder owner.
Painting the center section of the tails body-color is approved by most here.

Go with lowering springs unless you have $350-600 for a quality set of coilovers. The Spyder is different, but only because of the weight. So technically, any 95-99 Eclipse fwd springs would work, but could possiby give you some problems wth an uneven ride or sagging...but I've never heard of any problems before though. I would suggest some decent lowering springs (1.5-2" drop) and don't forget the camber kits....they are a necessity unless you can afford to replace your tires every 6 months.

If you're afraid to use the springs for the regular Eclipse then Eibach does make a lowering spring specifically for the Spyder, but I've heard the actual drop is minimal.

Just go with the lowering springs for a regular Eclipse. They work. You'll be happy. Problem solved.

Cheap coilovers = Shitty ride

I'd look into some new shocks if your car has over 60k miles on it as well. Better to change everything in there while it's out.

here's what i did:
