I bought one of those air-vent cupholders, removed the air-vent clips, and drilled a couple of screws in. It's within arms reach from the driver's seat. Yay, finally I have a rearl cupholder (my girlfriend was getting tired of being my cupholder).

We all have cupholders, but they are crap. You can only close the lid if you have a can in there.

The 2G's aren't much better. The second cupholder is for placement only and you can't close the lid.

the cup holder in the center console next to the ashtray isnt too bad. yeah it's not the greatest, but better than nothing. i just dont like drilling into panels.

Not sure about 2g's, but the cup holder inside the console in 1g is almost useless. You can't close the console lid, and it makes it very difficult to shift with a drink underneath your arm. A can of soda is the only thing that works, and even that sucks because you've got to open the console every time you want to take a drink.

I was debating whether or not to drill, but figured if I ever want to remove it, having 2 holes isn't so bad. Or if I really wanted, the part doesn't cost too much off Ebay.

Not if you run a straw up to the chin guard on your autism helmet.....:p

Hell just tell the girlfriend to suck it up and your problem is solved. OMG

Just joking:p
