Projector headlights

you really dont have to do anything, they bolt in fine, however, if you stick w/ the '95 bumper there will be a 1 1/2 inch gap on the inside corners. you can get a new bumper (97-99 style, or ugly aftermarket bumper that fits 97-99 :barf: ) or you can try to hide it somehow, like i did. it's still very noticeable though. I used aluminum mesh wiring and painted it the color of my car, dont have any pics tho. check out my gallery to see the gap in the headlights. also a word of advice, if i were you i'd buy stock headlights for 97-99, projectors suck, not much light output. sorry for the long post. :dsm:

are you lookign for the look or the performance? cause if you wnat performance, then take some dirt and rub it on your headlights...

but ther will be an ugly gap, the projectors that are out suck a big wang interms of ligting

if i was a master of enginering i woudl build a custom set of headlights that fit the talkon... but hella high beam projectos are 300 and then the piaa lows are like 400 but im rambling

damn guy ur one of the funniest dudes on dsmtuners...... :D :p ;)

the names jason, but my friends call me pox... LOL thanks dude

btw, i took apart my projectors and removed this silly mettle thing in them, it should brighten them up abit... still even with hid your bending over.

if you got hid's in projectors and you still can't see you're blind. i know several people that have them with hid's and they are bright as hell. krazykorean has does this and his are mad bright. let's all think about what we say before we say it.

what your bending over for, and yes you are bending over, is the fact that you need to buy a 300 dollar and up kit to makes something work the way it should... i granted hid kits are awsome, but still if the companies that made the projectors used real ones and not silly fog ones, there woudl be no problem with the brightness, why do you think those projector jdm lights cost 1000 bucks? and most aftermarket projectors are 2 to 300?

preach on preach on....i know the facts and you get what you pay for. but still. insurance paid for my shit, and with the extra money, i'll dump in some hid kits. i'll only have to pay around 100 bucks so i'm not complaining nor am i going to read anymore of "this and that".

How long on backorder were they when you went to order them?

this was back when my car was going into the shop. um.....my invoice says i ordered all my stuff on feb. 25 so i'd say i called a day or two earlier. nopi didn't have them in stock and didn't know when they'd have them. so i called another place, a yahoo store and he was the one who told me the black ones were on back order. but they did have the chrome ones. i wish i would have gotten them and then just paint the inner housing like i did with my stock headlights. oh well. if you need anymore info let me know.

Well I will have to pick some up then..if I can find them in stock anywhere.
