What is the best, or some of the best, brand of rims? I wanted to get some Konigs, but i have been hearing that they bend easily. So what should i look into?

Thanx:thumb:

That's why I asked. I was going to get the Tantrums, but if they bend... why waste the money. I'm looking at both OZ and Enkei. They lool pretty nice.

I don't know if it was Tuners or talk but a while back there was a big poll on what the best "poor man's" rim was...

And most people said as far as weight, styling, and price goes you can't beat the Rota Slipstream. Momo GT2's and Arrow rims are also quite decent (pricing is a biatch on the GT2's still though)

Konigs suck. Period. I wouldn't spend a dime on their knockoff crap.

Volk/Rays Engineering, Advan, upper range OZ (Their low end stuff is pretty mediocre though), Work, Weld, Wantanabe, KEI Office, SSR, Panasports, Speedline, certain BBS rims...

Enkei can range from absolute crap to meh.

i have the konig rated r's and i love them!!! put a bigger tire on your car and they won't bend, i always love hearing people complain "i bent my rim" and i look at the tire and there running like a 205/35, of course there gonna bend get a bigger tire! I have had mine on with not a single scratch, got them last october.

Go Motegi!

Sparco Racing.

OZ or Enkei.

My friend has Enkei's on his 00civic and they got bent on two of his rims just by going up and down a hill and bounced and it bent, the other hit a little hole and bent the outer lip. I personally dont like them.

SSR is indeed still in existance. Although they're pretty much known as SPEED STAR.

www.speedstar.co.jp

And Konig ripped it off THEM, not the other way around. ;)

ADVAN, VOLKS/RAYS, ENKEI, OZ, BBS, WORKS....etc.

TENZO R???? KONIG??? MOTEGI????? C'MON when did you see real race cars use these brands. Alot of them are knock off. They there cuz it's cheap, not because they are good.

A real GOOD Rim, is lightm, strong, and there are lots technology behind it. Some rim acutally able to direct air to rotor when it rotate. And most important is, they don't copy other's style, AXIS start up by copy ADVAN TOURING rim, and continue to copy other Japanese rims' style.
