Looking for something to fill pas. Airbag void

Hey all. I've done my Internet research but found nothing. I was wondering if somewhere, far beyond, someone makes something to filled the void that is created when you remove the passenger airbag. I hate airbags but I hate looking at the empty space too! Does someone make inserts that make it a compartment or something of the such?

Least expensive solution: Fill with expansion foam that you buy at a home store and give it a day to cure and expand. Then shave to the shape you want or compartment you want, and cover with vinyl or fabric. It will look great.

Is there a way to remove the air bag case thing from the cover with cracking or destroying the cover?

I removed mine by drilling out the rivets that hold it to the cover, and then zip tied the cover into place.

If you want to turn the airbag cover into a gauge pod, follow this how-to. Can use similar method to make a cup holder, mount a laptop bracket, make a storage container to go where airbag was, or anything else you can imagine.

find a small flat screen tv and wire it up and build an enclosure to hold it.

you could probably set it up so that the IPad pops in and out of the dash and charges when its hooked up in the dash

That's what I was thinking too... I'm gonna search around, see if someone has done something similar. And when I get home I'll start drawing out diagrams. running by ace.
