2G Clean headliner?

What's a good product to clean the headliner with? Over the years allot of choad has built up and I was wondering if anyone has cleaned theirs before and how it turned out?

I'm not really sure what you mean. But I just went to a fabric store and got headliner fabric and replaced the old crap with the new one.


If you mean the headliner board... Just brush off the crap and it will come off.

They make some special cleaner for headliners and stuff, call a detailing shop and they might be able to tell you. The key is not to saturate the fabric, which will allow the glue to come loose and then you have hanging headliner syndrome and it really sucks.

I have the hanging headliner syndrome.

Where did you guys get the headliner fabric. It's lame I have all grey interior but tan fabric on the visors and headliner.

I heard that Blue Coral upholestry cleaner was the best stuff to use so I actually tried some. Took a heavy grease stain out of the headliner with no ill effects. Just dont spray it on too heavy. Mist it on and then work it in.

anyone know how to take the sunroof shade out to redo the fabric?

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll try the blue coral upholstery cleaner. Theirs a detail shop right down the road but they charge $130 to do the interior, besides I like to work on my car myself.
