I'm looking for a paint that works good for interior panels, specifically the ones in the rear seat area and the trunk area that will match my factory grey panels as close as possible. There is a lot of sun fading and some stains I can't get clean. Its a 93 Talon TSI awd with the grey interior, i don't know the interior color code off the top of my head. Thanks guys!

have you checked the auto parts stores? they make some stuff called vinyl dye, it comes in a spary paint can in several different colors

Hmm, no I haven't seen that. I will have to check that out. Thanks! Does it appl just like spray paint then?

Well, I checked out the SEM color coats. Does anyone know what the color that matches or color that you guys have used? Its the standard grey interior. To me it looks like the medium grey or presidio.

Yup, SEM soap first, then plastic prep, then I used sand free as the adhesion promotor did not work on most of the plastic in our cars.

Prep, prep, prep, prep.
Make sure you wash the armour all out the panels, it might take a while!

Not sure, I used Landau black because I hate grey interiors.

Me too.

As far as for a match to the "stock" grey they don't have one labeled. Go to your local auto paint supplier and they should have most or all the colors and a chart there you can take out to your car and try to match up. Why not just remove the panels and repaint everything? Probably would be good for the whole thing since its an old car now.

That's interesting I'm trying to find a solution for the bottom outside window trim that's peeling. I couldn't stand it anymore but now I'm looking at chrome and it looks out of place. My auto body guy told me use electrical black tape. Uh no thank you, then I thought plasti dip, remove sand and spray. I think I'm going to use it for both wiper arms and windshield trim. Anyone use it for outside trim pieces or even interior pieces they have lots of colours and the best thing is if you don't like it peel it off.
