My hatch for my 97 gsx has rust on it so im going to buy a new one on craigslist, the hatch has no spoiler and no holes, its off a 96 eclipse my question it will it fit and also how hard will it be to put my high rise on it

Yes it will fit. The spoiler won't be hard to mount. Just make a template from the old hatch and drill the holes in the new hatch. Paint the hatch to match though.

The hatch will fit.

What I'd do is measure where the holes are on your old hatch and then use the measurements to mark the holes on your new hatch, then drill them out. Or just find a hatch with the high rise bolt holes already in it.

Here's a pic of the measurements on a factory 2gb car. I save this a long time ago and I don't remember from where.

I would just paint the hatch the color of your car and keep it wingless, so sexy. I recently bought a hatch like you described for $50 rathef than having the holes filled on my stock one which they wanted $600 to paint/shave it
