Can this white plastic be removed like the rubber attachment? I tried to poke though from inside of the car but failed. Do not want to damage anything, so I decide to ask how you guys run wires though that gomet.
Thanks a lot!

You can removed the white plastic piece. Just be careful not to break it if you plan to reuse it. The wire harness from the car actually clips into that location, making the door harness separate from the car harness.

Also when putting the black rubber piece back on the white piece properly, its easier to put it on the white piece, then clipping the white piece back into the door.

Been a while since I've done any wiring there, but yes I believe you can. Might have to drill through

ouch, I tend to avoid drilling~ Cannot poke through with a hanger...

by" clips into" you mean I can disconnect the harness from the inside of car? If so, Do I need to do this? Just wanna run new speaker wires there~

It clips into the door jamb area of the cars frame. You can do it to run wires to the connectors to keep them inside the seals, and away from water and so forth. So yes you can disconnect it from inside the car :thumb:

Sry I am little confused. according to the following pic, shall I just pull out the wire or have to remove that white plastic thing? hard to reach the screws.

You can just pull the wire out, but if it were me, I'd pull the white part out, pull the wire from the white part, and solder the new wire to the metal tip that should be on the original wire. Unless the speaker wire is missing. If you do it this way, you'll be able to unclip the harness without cutting wires if you need to in the future. Also, if you pull the white clip out, you'll have an easier time doing whatever wire job it is that you're doing.

I would take the white clip out the unplug the the wiring. Just be careful not to break it. Put them back together when re installing then just screw it back.

Thanks! I took a look at the harness. Cannot remove the white piece because there is no room to remove that second screw in the picture.
Even I had taken off the whole thing, I need to run two set of wires through(one for tweeter, one for crossover). Should I just drill a hole in the white gomet(red circle in pic)? will it damage anything, e.g. moisture?

Yeah you can drill it. Shouldn't have moisture issues if on the other side, the drill hole is inside the black seal from your first picture. If the hole isn't inside that area, you can put a small rubber grommet in the hole before running the wires and you'll be fine.

Well thank you very much! problem solved.:rocks:
