I just need help making sure I have the front from the rear springs correct. This kit is brand new, never installed but when I picked this kit up... no paperwork in the box. I did not purchase this kit new, but my friend got a deal on coilovers and so he GAVE me these as payment for putting on his coilovers....

Nailed it. The beefier ones are for the front "most of the weight" hence the size of them vs the rears.

Dang, I didnt even notice that the fronts were thicker than ther rear. I think i need to pay attention to detail more from now on. Thanks for pointing that out to me:hellyeah:

so got a questions, what if they were put on backwards?

like: rear springs on front, front springs on rear

You might already know this but I thought I'd mention it anyway because, I too have the same Prokit springs.

Prokit spring rates front/rear are 330/160 and your 2g, the FWD 95-96, came with 246/173. Crazy to think, huh? I recommend installing the fronts and then drop the car, if you can't see a noticeable height difference front to rear then leave the stock rear springs on, they're stiffer.

-- EDIT --
The above post was directed to eclipsechris as I, for some reason, thought he was the OP. For everyone reading this though, here are the stock DSM spring rates to compare to these "upgrades" that I wish I knew about before I spent my hard earned money on nothing.
95-96 OEM Stock 2G AWD
Front: 265
Rear: 162
97-99 OEM Stock 2G AWD
Front: 246
Rear: 151
95-96 OEM Stock 2G FWD
Front: 246
Rear: 173
97-99 OEM Stock 2G FWD
Front: 246
Rear: 151
The rear springs are what noticeably change ride comfort and for reference the "shoe-in the door" coilovers, take KSports for example, have spring rates of 672/375. Eibach springs are basically appearance mods so don't expect much, I did and I was very disappointed.

Rights are front and left are rears you can tell by how far the coils are compressed.
