Would this look good or just be plain stupid.

Well, I'm going to put a set of 2 12in JL W1's in my car, now that's not what i'm here about though. I had a 15in long blue cathode light in my computer that was sound reactive and beat to the bass. I was thinking about wiring it up in my car to the subs in the back. Then I have 2 12in blue cathodes that I was going to put facing the floorboards under the dash to shine at my feet.
Thoughts?

I think that would look like shit. Tacky & unnecessary. If you want a rolling boom box with flashing lights and all, buy a Honda.

Well the ones in the floorboard wouldn't be sound reactive. They'd just be there. The one in the back however, i'd wire it to be sound reactive but also have a switch to it in case I was tired of it haha.

I mean, my "theme" for the inside will be black and blue. I'm not looking for anything to be showy, I just want it to look sick and have some fun.

If you want it, then go for it. What us members think shouldn't really matter, because as you can read, most disagree with it. I had green lights in my 1st DSM, which was a n/a 2g talon. I ended up outgrowing that idea and took them all out. So what I guess I'm trying to say, is do it it you're happy with it. Don't not do it based off what everyone else thinks.

Certainly not unmolested.

You don't have to get all poopy faced about it. Don't ask for opinions if you can't handle both ends of the scale.

I can handle opinons. Its not about what other people think, its about what is your preference. I happen to like the black and blue theme with a clean panda outside.

I have seen 350z,supras,hondas,wrxs,1920s roadsters, mustangs, camaros, harleys, rockets. With neon lights under the dash or engine or under the car. I wont lie I rocked em in my 1g back in the day under the dash. The dsm crowd is more conservative as a whole. Most like a clean stock body with rims and a slight drop. Its just the nature of the community. You have to drive it everyday not us so if you like it go for it brother.

Haha, exactly!

I was just gonna say pretty much this exact same thing... My friends and I had these type of things done when we were 10 years younger, But that was also when we thought an exhaust doubled the horsepower of a car.

Id leave it alone, your about a decade off with the "cool" factor.

anything that is not simple and ordinary such as flashy or bling accessories do not last long. Its almost like an impulse install or in the moment hype decision. You will enjoy it the first 15 minutes then it will become hated and annoying for the next 2 years until you finally rip it off.

10 times out of 10, if you dont install it, you wont regret it.
