Hope someone has a solution.
Just bought a 95 Tsi shell. I decided to gut everything to give the car a proper inspection before I start building it. The driver seat is power and is moved most of the way back. I can get 3 of the 4 bolts to remove it but the 4th is covered by the track for the seat. I can get a wrench on it but the track is blocking it from backing out. No battery in the car so I tried running a wire from a battery to the plug for the power seat motor. I hear a small click but the switch remains unresponsive and the seat won't move. When I searched the forum I couldn't find a definitive solution but someone mentioned a release switch for the seat motor.
Anyone have any ideas or additional info on this release switch?
