Carbon Fiber Vendors Gone on Ebay

So I usually don't go to Ebay for my carbon fiber needs, but since TopShopCarbon no longer makes the interior panels for our cars I decided to check out ebay.

I am only looking for 1 piece....the headliner. I wanted a relatively quick fix to my old tan headliner that would also go with the overall theme of my car. I know for a fact that last month I saw cf headliners, but now they are nowhere to be found. I have been checking all month and there just doesn't seem to be anybody that makes em anymore.

Perhaps they are just taking a break or something, but I never thought I'd see the day when nobody would be making them.

Anybody else notice this?

I guess I am just going to have to get mine reupholstered black....sadface.

Its because theres very very little demand for older cars like ours.. and the overhead is just to much to make 1. thats why alot of us wont do it unless ~10 ppl sign up. thats hard to do as well given the econmy and the fact the ppl like 386 customs ripped ppl off and left a sour taste..

Keep an eye out on ebay. Some more will likely pop up.

I'd have to agree, probably just temporary, keep checking every few days. Low demand is probably the culprit but I doubt they are just gone

Not 100% sure. I know they did in 2009. Now it looks like motorcycle stuff.

I picked up mine from them way back when. I'd call them and ask.

....and anytime someone does come out with an "introductory part", a new idea, or wants to make products for these cars, the first 50 responses are "I like it, but I can get the same thing on ebay or at home depot for 80% less"....quality just doesn't matter to kids these days.

Sorry Tony, might be better off contacting one of the supporting freelancers.

I'd definitely rather have awesome quality over cheap price. A few friends of mine love universal parts for the cheap reason, I'll never use universal parts.
