Repainting body parts?

Alright, Im planning on buying a new rear bumper from someone for way cheap. It's red and my car is green so I was wondering if shops will be able to primer and repaint a new color with ease.. no cracking, peeling, etc? I really don't want to go to the dealership and spend and arm and a leg.. thanks in advance.

I dont see why they could not do it just look around an see who is the cheepest an have a guarantee on there work.
