I took out my amp and subwoofer and left the wires in my other car and I want to put it in my GST now. I have a rockford amp and a bazooka tube that I wanna hook up. I bought the wiring kits and stuff already, but I have no clue on how to hook the damn thing up. Any pointers?

run power wire from your batter with an inline fuse.. use ground wire and ground your amp to something metal that goes to the car.. like a seat bolt or something.. run rca's from your deck, using the sub outputs if you have them, if not use the rear outputs.. run a amp turn on wire, should have one on the back of your deck.. wire your subwoofers up to your amp, bridge it if it's to channel and if your impedence is within the amps range.. there is so much stuff, start searching or start hiring someone to do it for you.

I have a rockford 250.2a and a 10" Bazooka tube. It worked really well on my old car just that I took the amp and sub outta the car but left the wires in there. So I have a new wiring kit to connect up, I need to know how I can get the wires through the firewall. I have a aftermarket Panasonic head unit and it has RCA cables in the back. So do I just connect the power lines to the battery then to the amp and the RCA to the amp then hook the sub to the amp?

that should be the last thing u do, re hooking it. u should always unplug your battery when doing electrical stuff, incase theres a bad connection somewhere. as for going though the firewall, the easiest place is the steering colum boot, for 1gs anyway, not sure if its the same for 2gs.....

yes unhooking the batt should be the first and last thing to do. you don't wanna short something out. Make sure your fuse from the batt isn;t more than 6-8 inches away (you might wanna look this up) from your batt. If you don't hook it up right, you can expect to have a big marshmellow fire.

P.s. When grounding the amp, take off paint and try making the ground place as bare as possible for best conductivity.
