Clarion IN Dash LCD Screen Safety Feature: How to override?

I have a Clarion VRX6671z In-Dash LCD. These units (and probably the touch screen units that came after) have an orange wire that is attached to the parking brake as a "safety feature" which disables the video( audio still plays) when the parking brake isn't up. Is there a way to circumvent this so that the video remains at all times? MAybe splicing it into one of the wires on the harness?

just take the safty switch wire and ground it out then you can us everything on the deck
