Can anyone who owns these bumpers please measure the opening in the front.

I can't decide between the 2 and I want the one with the biggest opening for my FMIC.

blitz front and sides on your car with the stock talon rear would look awesome imo.

the evo has a bigger opening than the blitz.

in the pic.. i have a hahn stage 2 fmic, and its huge.. check out how much you can see of the fmic

furthermore,... dont get a blitz.. everyone has one.

My only concern is the opening. I don't care if everyone has a blitz I only care about the biggest FMIC opening.

Well the one that Vegas GST has on tuners.. the Skyline bumper one is huge..and its not really low and still matches the car alot...because its still kinda calm look..not all Blitz like you know what i mean..also has those rectangle opening on top so even more air flow...

Which bumper is that?

Edit: that whole is small.

Do you want someone to actually measure the opening on their evo3 bumper?

Pics are hard to judge.

So ya I was asking if someone would physically measue the length and height of the EVO and Blitz bumpers.

John would it be cheaper to do the 97-99 conversion and then cut the top piece out?

I don't know I trying to find out the exact dimensions of all 3 to determine which has the biggest opening.

Well whenever you find out the dimensions on the other bumpers....I am going to cut mine out soon...and you can come by and check it ou or i wil measure it for ya..

Jonno,
32" at the top, 28" at the bottom, and 9" tall opening of an Aerogear blitz front end. Since it's the only one that is guaranteed a perfect fit, it's the one I'd use to compare against the Evo bumper.

thats funny.. have you looked at your car lately? Have you noticed your wheel wells, where the front bumper comes in contact with your fenders?

A body kit is a body kit. Just because its a blitz doesn't mean its going to fit better than everything else. My EVO bumper from Vis Racing fit perfectly. Id say more perfectly than your Blitz did.

Haha, take a peep at this pic, that's just how the Aerogear kit is. It has a flat part before going into a curve. It matches the fender perfectly and Aerogear guarantees that fit with every kit they sell or they send you a new one. Not something that comes with yours, as I said earlier. Definitely something to consider when purchasing an aftermarket bumper as John will be in the near future. Now how about you actually answer his question and go measure your opening?

Ok no arguing about whose bumper is better.

Tom I appreciate the measurements.

My core is 24x12x3.5, so far the blitz looks to have a pretty big opening.

Just waiting for the verdict on a 97 and sinsei.

Gimme 6 More Hours and Ill Go Home And Measure My Own Bumper Thats Sitting In My Garage...

(i might be selling a body kit soon if anyone is interested...)
(evo front , blitz sides , combat rear? forgot name of rear... all fiberglass tho!)

Whats funny is have you seen your bumper..from the pics the bumper is like a little to short and doesn't even reach the bumper...also is it even color matched to your car....Tom Sawyer...car is done the right way..and that bumper from what I have seen in the past fits pretty damn good...can't say that for yours  Well anyway..i just had to say that.. Sorry to go off subject John..... :thumb:
