I am going to be buying some bumpers and going to ship through Greyhound. Only problem is, he's having trouble finding a box big enough to put each bumper in. Does anyone have any ideas on how to ship one? Thanks in advance.

You should be able to get them made at most Misc Mail Places (MailBox ETC. , Packaging Plus) They should be able to package anything

I don't think the guy has any downpipe boxes. Thanks for the suggestion though. But if he did have other small boxes, wouldn't it be a pain to put all of them together for the two bumpers?

Just saw your post, I'll tell him about that. Thanks.

it might fit in a wardrobe moving box??? depends on its size. I think it would. I havnt been around them in awhile and don't know how big bumbers are

any other ideas? i will have a 97-99 bumper too that i will be selling, so i will need to know for shipping purposes

Try going to sears or something... They prolly have boxes in the back from display items like fridges or huge tvs that they would give away.

You don't need a box. I've shipped large parts through Greyhound many times....just wrap the bumpers in cardboard (broken down boxes) and then cover everything in thick plastic bags....tape around everything to hold it tight and you're set to go.

how much are you sellin the bumper for? i'll buy it and is it for a Eclipse? dont worry about shiping i'll jump on the I-95 and pick it up

hit me up on AIM...tlnpwryj.

i have to get the bumper it's still in my buddy's shed. but hit me up and we will see what we can work out.

You dont even need to put pieces of cardboard on them. Just buy a roll of plastic, wrap the sucker and stick the shipping label on it.

I use bubble wrap to ship mine. Greyhound will take anything, they are shipping whores :thumb:!

I just use carboard to protect the stuff a little better. They can get kinda rough with that stuff.

just go to a mailboxes etc.. or a place like that (i work at a place called post and parcel that does stuff like that) they can make about any size box you need
