Radio Slot Gauge install bolt on method, pics.

MY old setup was tacky, too bad gauges have that lip... they wont sit flush. Still I think its clean. And I keep my factory vents. Used Clear lexan with a big black sticker on the front.

My approach, 100% "bolt on".

Put the backlights on a switch, next to lc1 led/button, kinda stealth. I like a dark cabin if i dont need to see my gauges. Next, I might build a tinted version with gauges behind the lexan. and maybe have mount it in the vent area so i can get a frikkin pocket.

I did the same on mine but instead my 3 gauges are on top, good stuff man!

i want do do this to my car, but i would like it better if the were slightly tilted sideways and up for easier glancing!

I thought about 3 and tilt, for a whole minute . 3 wont fit. the hole is 7 and some change i think. each gauge is 2 and a 1/16 totaling 6+3/16, plus desired 1/4" between each gauge. Leaves me with ~1/16th for error (actually less since each gauge has a lip, and 1/4" gap hardly covers that...) Also I like my heat/ac comming out the top, and Im going for sleeper, so the more out of the way the better. besides I only want them there when want to see them. I dont wanna see em all the time. thanks for props. And thanks for the junkyard. Im officially hooked.

Also, the cockpit has enough angles, half my passengers allready comment on the back to the future slanty center console... I dont have to add to the curves.
