I want to replace my dome/map lights (1996, no sunroof, so its actually a dome light setup, not the rear view mirror) with something very white or bluish white. But I also want it to be very bright, unlike the yellowish, dim stockers.

So what's the best bet? PIAA or something.... or an LED conversion? If LED, how do you do it?

Pics appreciated!! Thanks.

um, i'm too lazy to go digging on www.google.com but search for Varad Led's. they are set up for 12 volts.. no resistor bullshit, you just yank your light out, stick the wires from the varad bulbs into the positive and negative terminals respectively (test with a volt-meter to verify) and voila! you have whatever color light you want ;)
